Reviews
From Grapevine 'Live music in the Preston area'. February 2001. p13.
'Moggie' says :
"... Fortunately, the always excellent 'UK Doorz' were playing downstairs so we were
treated to their passionate, polished, reverential renderings of all the best Doors
classics. Several people find it hard to accept them as a true Doors cover band 'cos
they don't have a keyboard player, but I think Phil on lead guitar covers Ray Manzarek's
bits, with help from rock solid bass and spot on drums, very well, and Rik on lead vox
has Jim down to the last twitch. I've seen better known, better paid Doors tribute bands
do a lot worse, and this was a free gig."

"They really put all they've got into every song. Rik was shedding body fluid in buckets
by the end of the first song, so by 'The End', fifteen or more classics later, he must
have lost two stone! A modest, friendly foursome, these Manchester-based lads always
deliver, even if the audience is a lot smaller than they deserve (& get elsewhere). Rik
admits they could use a very good Doors style keyboardist, so if you are up to it, or
fancy finding out more ..."
