At the tender age of six, Wayne started freestyle play on top
of cupboards and bin lids.
In 1984 he bought his first kit and after lots of long, hard practice,
joined his first band, Head Over Heels in '85.
They played regularly, receiving local radio and press coverage in the Lincolnshire area.
"The drummer who thumps the tubs" moved to Sheffield and spent three years with
Vision Trade,
a powerful late 80's guitar band. In 1991 he left to play and study in Manchester.
After working with several local groups, Wayne co-founded
The UK Doorz who have been performing regularly ever since.

"This band is star-studded with great energy and honours the famous 60's band, with a
particular gratitude for Jim Morrisons writing and majestic stage presence. I enjoy
the success we have and hope it continues into the millenium and beyond..."
